Best Time to Visit Egypt

Egypt is mostly desert, only on the narrow strip crossed by the River Nile are possible crops. The country has year-round sun and almost no rain, except in Alexandria, which has a more Mediterranean climate than the rest of the country.

Travel season in the country is peaking from mid October to May and this is the best time to visit Egypt. Unlike other tourist destinations, the tourist season is booming during winter and spring. This is because in summer, the temperatures are too high. In the winter is very pleasant, especially in the south. If you are traveling on budget, keep in mind that during the peak, prices in Egypt are skyrocketing.

Egypt can be a very peaceful and quiet place during the summer if you do not mind the hot weather. Some hotels in Cairo are filling up with lots of Arab visitors in the summer, which would rather be in Egypt than having to endure even hotter weather in their own countries.

When you are in Egypt, you have to visit Great Pyramids of Giza. They are attractive tourist attraction and the only survived of the Seven Wonders of the World.
